"We planned for 10 days — Tawang, Shillong, Cherrapunji, Kaziranga and Guwahati. Wonderful stay arrangement done by Nikita mam and great support by Krishna Bhaiya our taxi driver. Journey ends with flying colours."
Where the world's third-highest peak watches over monasteries, valleys in bloom and roads that end at the sky
Why Sikkim
The world's third-highest peak at 8,586 metres, visible on clear mornings from Darjeeling and Pelling in all its impossible scale. No mountain anywhere in India is more commanding or more quietly overwhelming.
North Sikkim's crown jewels — the Yumthang Valley of Flowers carpeted in rhododendrons each spring, and Zero Point at 15,300 ft where the road simply ends at snow. A landscape that feels more Tibet than India.
Two of the most significant Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world — Rumtek outside Gangtok, and Pemayangtse near Pelling. Ancient, alive and steeped in a culture that has changed little over centuries.
The hill town that defined India's relationship with tea and the mountain railway that carries you through it. Tiger Hill at dawn with Kanchenjunga turning gold — one of the great sunrise experiences anywhere in the world.

Plan your visit
The finest window. Skies are crystal clear after the rains, Kanchenjunga is fully visible, and the entire landscape is vivid green. Roads are open including the high-altitude routes to Lachen and Lachung.
✓ Best seasonCold, clear and uncrowded. Yumthang and Zero Point see snowfall, Gangtok is crisp and quiet, and the sunrises over Kanchenjunga are extraordinary. Some high-altitude roads may close — we plan accordingly.
✓ Great seasonRhododendrons bloom across the hillsides in spectacular colour. Yumthang Valley transforms into a carpet of flowers. Warm days, clear mornings and Sikkim at its most beautiful — the ideal time for Pelling and North Sikkim.
✓ Hidden gemHeavy rainfall causes landslides and road closures across the mountain routes. The high-altitude zones including North Sikkim become inaccessible. We recommend avoiding these months entirely for Sikkim.

"Excellent trip with all amazing places covered. The driver was excellent and accommodative. Nikita Chauhan's meticulous planning and the choice of hotels was excellent — especially given we were pure vegetarian."
"Excellent & trouble free journey. Comfortable stay in all destinations. Worth for money. Kamal Das, our driver for 7 days, was very soft spoken. Thanks to Aman who designed our tour so well we discovered everything in a week."
